Welcome To Ubuntu

Ubuntu (meaning Humanity) is a charitable organization created to help improving the living conditions of the women and children who were victims of the Rwandan genocide. The main objective is to bring them to self sufficiency.













For the moment, Ubuntu concentrates its efforts in Kimironko, a community of 750 residents in the outskirts of Kigali. The strength of Ubuntu is its capacity to provide direct services to the residents of Kimironko.

We organized a Fashion Show on December 9th. A total of 72 people paid their entrance to this event. The creations of Colombe (fashion designer), who has been working with us for over a year, were very well presented by 5 young professional models.
